With nearly 1 in 2 individuals in Australian substance use treatment experiencing symptoms of trauma-related mental health disorders, the need for integrated, trauma-informed care is clear.
This multi-phased work seeks to address this gap by developing resources that will support healthcare professionals in better meeting the needs of those living with both trauma and addiction.
A special thanks to the participants who contributed to our first workshop, and to our valued partners: Spectrum, Phoenix Australia and the Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) research team.
