Workshop | Foundations of Culturally Responsive Practice in Mental Health Settings

This workshop by Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH) introduces culturally safe and responsive practice, an intersectional understanding of mental health, and provides tools to apply human rights and cultural models of health to mental health practice. It aims to stimulate interest in transcultural mental health issues and complements broader service development initiatives. The workshop uses various facilitation modes to explore the knowledge, skills, and attitudes supporting culturally safe and responsive mental health care.
