Webinar | Integrated care in action: A model for mental health and addiction treatment
Presented by Hamilton Centre and Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN).
People with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions have struggled to access appropriate treatment services for far too long. The Hamilton Centre works towards a system where people with co-occurring disorders, and their families and supporters, can access integrated, inclusive, holistic care throughout Victoria by breaking down silos, and through open minds and open doors.
The Hamilton Centre Clinical Network is a collaborative effort between some of the most respected public healthcare organisations in Victoria - St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, Eastern Health, Western Health, Austin Health, and Goulburn Valley Health.
Our online training program aligns with the objectives of the Royal Commission for Victoria's Mental Health System to support workforce development through online training.
It is customised to address the specific needs of people working in integrated care settings, equipping them with the necessary skills for positive change and social impact.
Our initial modules, 1) Introduction to co-occurring conditions, 2) Therapeutic relationships, 3) Opioid pharmacotherapy, 4) Foundations of AOD knowledge, and 5) Opioid harm reduction and overdose prevention are now available.
