June has officially wrapped up the Hamilton Centre workshops for the 25-26 financial year.
With 12 sessions delivered across online and in-person formats in regional and metro Victoria, and a 96% satisfaction rate, our team supported over 360 health workers to strengthen their skills in integrated care delivery.
It has been great connecting with colleagues from the alcohol and other drug and mental health sectors and supporting capacity building around therapeutic relationships, opioid pharmacotherapy and culturally safe care for First Nations Communities across these workforces.
Regional workers, in particular, expressed their appreciation for training delivered locally. One attendee from our recent workshop in Ballarat shared:
It was great to have the session in person as it created an interactive environment that allowed attendees to engage in discussion and ask questions easily. The day overall was really good, lots of info with emerging trends and research, which was great to hear about.”
It’s been fantastic to see the engagement across all sessions, and we’re looking forward to what’s coming next.
