Help is Here Campaign
Launched in 2022, Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals offer a variety of free support services. The "Help is Here" campaign aims to raise local awareness and encourage access to the first six Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals. This includes the areas of Benalla-Wangaratta-Mansfield, Brimbank, Frankston, Greater Geelong-Queenscliffe, Latrobe, and Whittlesea.
Currently, there are 15 Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals statewide, catering to metropolitan, regional, and rural communities.

Support is accessible without a referral from a doctor or health professional, a mental health care plan, or a Medicare card. It's open to anyone aged 26 and over experiencing mental health or wellbeing issues, including those dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use or addiction.
Support is also available for family members, friends, and carers of people with mental health concerns, assisting them in their caregiving roles or addressing their own mental health needs.
