General Information:
The Hamilton Centre is an all-ages service that provides linkages between Victorian mental health and addiction services and contributes to care for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use or addiction issues. Please note this is not an emergency or crisis service.

What we provide:
General Information and Education
If you need help navigating or accessing local addiction or mental health services, or general advice not related to a particular consumer in your service, you can contact the Hamilton Centre for general advice and education. Call 1800 517 383 to speak with a Hamilton Centre clinician.
Advice and Mentorship Line
Experienced clinicians are available through the Hamilton Centre for guidance and mentorship around service access and navigation. This may involve identifying appropriate referral pathways, introductions, facilitation of warm referrals, assistance with referral processes and pathways, or general clinical mentorship. This service may involve a one-off discussion or a series. It is telephone or Zoom-based. Click here for more information.
Consumer Referral
Consumers can be referred directly to the Hamilton Centre, where a range of services and options can be accessed. These include:
Primary consultation: The consumer is assessed by a Hamilton Centre clinician via the relevant Clinical Network provider, and where appropriate, this may be delivered via telehealth.
Secondary consultation: This involves a discussion between the treating team and Hamilton Centre clinicians to clarify any treatment-related issues and provide advice about the consumer’s ongoing management. If appropriate, a secondary consultation may lead to a primary consultation.
